How to add sign-in and user accounts
Add sign-up and login so people get their own accounts, with secure sign-in wired up for you.
What you'll do
Add sign-up and login to your app so each person gets their own account. You don't wire up any of the security yourself; the platform handles it for you, so visitors can create an account, log in, and pick up where they left off.
Step 1 — Open your project
Open your app from My apps and head into the Visual Builder, where you refine and add features by chatting with your AI team.
Step 2 — Ask your AI team to add sign-in
In the chat, say something plain like "Add sign-up and login so people have their own accounts." Your AI team builds the sign-in, the account screens, and the secure parts behind them for you.
Add any details you care about, such as "let people sign in with email" or "show their name once they're logged in." The more you describe, the closer the result matches what you pictured.
Step 3 — Tell the AI which sign-in options you want
Want a particular way to sign in? Just say so in the chat — for example, "let people sign in with email and password" or "add Google sign-in." Your AI team builds it in for you; there's no separate login tool to connect.
This is handy when you have a specific preference, like matching a login method your audience already uses.
Step 4 — Preview and try it yourself
Use the preview to open your app on desktop and on phone, then create a test account and log in like a real visitor would. Check that sign-up, login, and signing out all behave the way you expect.
If anything feels off, just tell the AI in chat what to change, then preview again.
Tips
- Be specific about what each person should see only after they log in, and what stays public.
- Test on phone as well as desktop; the preview switches between both with a click.
- When everything looks right, publish so your sign-in goes live for real visitors.
