How to add forms and collect responses
Add a contact, lead, or sign-up form to your app and see where every response is saved.
What you'll do
You'll add a form to your app so visitors can reach you or sign up, then see exactly where their answers land. It's all no code, so you describe what you want and let your AI team build it.
Step 1 — Open your project
Open the project you're working on and head into the Visual Builder. This is where you shape your app by pointing and clicking, or just by asking the AI in chat.
Step 2 — Ask for the form you need
In the builder's chat, describe the form in plain words. Try something like "Add a contact form with name, email, and a message box," or "Add a sign-up form for my newsletter."
Be specific about the fields you want. Your AI team places the form on the page for you.
Step 3 — Adjust the fields
Once the form appears, you can refine it. Point and click to move it or edit a label, or just ask in chat to add, remove, or rename any field.
Common asks: make a field required, add a phone number, or change the button text to "Get in touch."
Step 4 — Decide what happens with each response
Tell the AI what each submission should do — for example, save it inside your app or send it straight to your inbox. Describe it in plain words, like "save these sign-ups in my app" or "email me each new message," and your AI team wires it up.
Step 5 — Get an email when someone submits
You can pair your form with an email so you're notified right away. Ask your AI team to "Email me whenever someone submits this form," and confirm the address to send to.
Tips
- Keep forms short. The fewer fields you ask for, the more people finish.
- Preview your form on both phone and desktop before you publish, so it looks right everywhere.
- Always test by submitting once yourself, then check that the response arrived where you set it to go.
