How to sell your template, step by step
Turn an app you built into a creator template: set up your shop, connect Stripe, list it, get it approved, and know exactly what happens after each sale.
What you'll do
You'll take an app you built on NoCodePro.AI and sell copies of it to other builders as a creator template. By the end you'll have a shop, a Stripe account connected for your earnings, a listing a person at NoCodePro.AI has approved, and a clear picture of what happens — and when you're paid — after every sale.
It takes about 20 minutes, most of it Stripe asking who you are so it can pay you.
Before you start — what you need
- The Starter plan or higher. The free Explorer plan can't list in Sell templates (sharing a free template with the community from Templates is open on every plan).
- An app you built yourself, from a blank app. An app started from one of NoCodePro.AI's own templates — however much you changed it — can't be sold, and neither can a template you bought from another creator. Every listing is compared by shape with all of ours; a close one is refused or checked by a person.
- The extra lock (two-step sign-in) switched on for your account. It's asked for before you list or get paid.
- A Stripe account in a country we can pay — the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or one of the EEA countries (all 27 EU countries, Norway and Liechtenstein). You create it while setting up; it's free.
Step 1 — Open Sell templates and create your shop
Open Sell templates from the main menu. The Set up your shop checklist shows four steps. Press Create your shop and choose your shop name, photo and a short line about you. Your shop gets its own public page at nocodepro.ai/@yourname, listing everything you sell.
Step 2 — Connect Stripe so you can be paid
Press Connect payouts. Stripe opens and asks for your details and your bank account — that's Stripe checking who you are, as the law requires before anyone can be paid. When you come back, the step shows as done once Stripe confirms your account can receive money.
In the United States and Canada, Stripe also asks a few questions about taking card payments. That is Stripe's rule for accounts there — it will not open an account that only receives money. You still never take a payment yourself: NoCodePro.AI sells to the buyer and only ever sends you your share.
NoCodePro.AI sells your template to the buyer, and sends your share to this Stripe account. Stripe then pays it into your bank every week. See How you get paid for the timing.
Step 3 — Add your tax details
Press Tax details and confirm the country where you report your income. NoCodePro.AI sells to the buyer, so VAT and sales tax on the sale are ours to handle — never yours. What you earn is your own income, and you report it where you live.
Step 4 — List your template
Press List your first template (later: Listings › New listing). The form has five steps:
- Pick the app you want to sell.
- Details — a name, what it does, and who it's for.
- Price & plan — Free (it appears under Made by: Community) or a one-time price (it appears under Made by: Creators). You see what you keep from each sale right there.
- Pictures & file — screenshots of the screens, and an optional guide file for buyers.
- Submit — accept the Seller Agreement and send it for review.
Step 5 — A person approves it
Your listing is checked automatically first (its code is scanned for anything unsafe, and it's compared with NoCodePro.AI's own templates), then a person at NoCodePro.AI approves it. There is no way for a listing to go live without that approval. A paid listing also can't go live until your Stripe account can be paid.
Changing the price or the app later sends it back to a person — your live listing keeps selling at its old price in the meantime.
Step 6 — Buyers find it and buy it
Once approved, your template is in Templates › Made by: Creators (or Community if it's free) and on your shop page. A signed-in buyer opens it, looks inside, and buys it once. They get a copy in their own account to turn into an app; your app is never touched.
What happens after each sale
- The buyer pays NoCodePro.AI — your price, plus any VAT or sales tax for where they live.
- You're told straight away, with the date your share will be sent.
- For 30 days the buyer can report a problem from their library. You can recommend a refund or dispute it from Sell templates › Get paid; NoCodePro.AI makes the final call.
- 32 days after the sale, your share is sent to your Stripe account — once the buyer's 30-day window has closed.
- Stripe pays it into your bank on its weekly schedule (Fridays), and emails you.
Everything about the money — how much you keep, what waits and why, refunds and currency — is in How you get paid for templates you sell.
If something doesn't go to plan
- "Selling isn't available in your country yet" — Stripe can't send money from our UK account to your country yet. You can still share free templates with the community.
- Your listing isn't approved — you'll see why in Listings. Fix it and send it again.
- Your share says "waiting" — a buyer reported a problem, the payment is disputed, or your Stripe setup isn't finished. Sell templates › Get paid says which.
