How you get paid for templates you sell
Exactly what you keep from each sale, when it is sent, what can make it wait, how refunds and currency work, and what to expect on your bank statement.
What you'll learn
When someone buys your template, NoCodePro.AI sells it to them and takes the payment. Your share is then sent to your Stripe account 32 days after the sale — once the buyer's 30-day window to report a problem has closed — and Stripe pays it into your bank every Friday. This guide explains each part so you always know what to expect.
How much you keep
NoCodePro.AI's fee is worked out on your price, before any tax. Your fee is set by when you opened your shop, and it never changes after that:
- The first 500 creators — no NoCodePro.AI fee. You keep your whole price. Stripe's own costs for the sale (card processing, currency conversion, and Stripe Tax's 0.5% when tax is added) come off your share, and each sale shows exactly how much.
- The next 500 creators — a 5% fee. You keep 95% of your price.
- Everyone after that — a 10% fee. You keep 90% of your price.
There's no fee to list, and no monthly fee to sell.
A worked example
You sell a template for $49. A buyer in Germany pays $49 plus German VAT on top — the VAT is NoCodePro.AI's to pay, not yours.
- On the 10% fee you keep $44.10 (the fee is $4.90).
- On the 5% fee you keep $46.55 (the fee is $2.45).
- With no fee you keep $49.00, less Stripe's costs for that sale.
When you're paid — the timeline
- Day 0 — the sale. The buyer pays NoCodePro.AI. You get a notification with the date your share will be sent. In Sell templates › Get paid the sale shows as sent on [date].
- Days 0 to 30 — the buyer's report window. If what they bought doesn't work, the buyer can report it within 30 days. Your share waits while a report is open.
- Day 32 — your share is sent to your Stripe account. (The two extra days make sure the window has fully closed.)
- The next Friday — Stripe pays your bank, and emails you. Stripe's first payout to a brand-new account can take a little longer while it finishes its checks.
You don't need to do anything to be paid — there is nothing to withdraw and no minimum amount. Every sale is sent on its own day.
What can make your share wait
Your share is only sent when all of these are true. Sell templates › Get paid shows which one applies:
- A buyer reported a problem — it waits until NoCodePro.AI settles the report.
- The buyer disputed the payment with their bank — it waits until the bank decides.
- Your Stripe account can't be paid yet — for example Stripe needs another detail from you. Finish it in Stripe and your share goes out with the next daily run.
- NoCodePro.AI is looking into it — rare; we'll contact you.
Refunds and disputes
- The buyer keeps the template while their report is looked at. You can recommend a refund or dispute the report from Get paid; NoCodePro.AI makes the final call.
- A refund before your share is sent simply reduces it — by the refunded part — or cancels it if the whole payment is refunded. Nothing is taken from you, because nothing had been sent yet.
- A dispute the buyer wins with their bank works the same way. If it happens after your share was sent (disputes can come months later), that amount is taken back from your Stripe balance, or from your next payments if your balance has already gone to your bank.
Currency
Buyers pay in US dollars. NoCodePro.AI sends your share from its UK Stripe balance, in pounds, converted at the rate Stripe used for that sale. If your bank account is in another currency, Stripe converts it again before it reaches your bank. Stripe shows every amount in your Stripe dashboard.
Tax
- NoCodePro.AI sells to the buyer, so VAT and sales tax on the sale are ours to handle — never yours. You don't charge tax, collect it, or file it for your template sales.
- What you earn is your own income. Report it where you live, the same way as any other income. Sell templates › Get paid › Download sales list gives you every sale for your records, and your Stripe dashboard shows every payment you received.
- NoCodePro.AI can't give you tax advice — if you're unsure what to report, ask an accountant in your country.
Where you can be paid from
Creators can be paid in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the EEA — Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
These are the countries Stripe lets our UK account send money to. If you live somewhere else, you can still share free templates with the community.
Quick answers
- Do I have to do anything to get paid? No — once your Stripe account is set up, every sale is sent automatically, 32 days after it.
- Can I be paid sooner? No. The 30-day report window protects buyers, and paying after it means a refund never has to be taken back from you.
- Why is the amount in pounds? NoCodePro.AI's Stripe account is in the UK; Stripe converts it to your currency before your bank.
- Where do I see all of this? Sell templates › Get paid shows each sale — when it will be sent, whether it's waiting and why, and what was sent.
