How to follow what Managed Agents are doing
Watch Managed Agents work in real time, read each step, and leave and come back whenever you like.
What you'll do
When you hand a job to Managed Agents, you don't have to sit and guess what's happening. You'll learn how to watch the work as it unfolds, read what each agent is doing, and step away with confidence that nothing gets lost.
Step 1 — Find the progress panel
Once Managed Agents start working, a small status line appears right where you handed off the task. It shows the team name and a gentle "working..." message.
This is your live window into the job. You don't need to refresh anything, it updates on its own.
Step 2 — Open it to see each agent
Click the status line to expand it. Now you'll see the full panel, with each specialist on its own row.
Each row shows the specialist's name, the line it is working on right now, and where it stands: engaged while it's busy, finished when it's done, and resting when it hasn't been called on yet.
Step 3 — Read the running progress
Watch the rows change as the lead brings each specialist in. Below them, the activity feed describes what the team is doing in plain English, and the Credit Tokens used so far are shown at the top of the panel.
If you ever want to stop the work, the panel has a Stop button. Use it only if you've changed your mind — your team can usually finish on its own, and you can add Credit Tokens and pick up again if it pauses at its ceiling.
Step 4 — Leave and come back
You don't have to keep the page open. Close the tab, grab a coffee, or check back later, the work keeps going on its own.
When you return to your project, the same panel is waiting with the latest status, whether the team is still working or already finished.
Tips
- A pulsing blue dot means an agent is actively working; a green check means that part is finished.
- Want to peek without the detail? Click the panel header to collapse it back into the small status line.
- Bigger autonomous jobs run on Managed Agents, which need a Builder plan or higher.
