How to export your code and take your app with you

Download your full app code any time as a zip file so you truly own your project, with no lock-in.

What you'll do

You'll download a complete copy of your app's code as a zip file. This proves the work is yours to keep, so you're never locked in — and if you ever hand it to a developer, they'll have everything they need.

It costs nothing. Downloading your code is free on every plan, including the free Explorer plan, and there's no cap tied to your plan. You already spent Credit Tokens building the app; we don't charge you again to receive it. There are ordinary fair-use limits — a handful of exports a minute — and each download link stays good for a week.

Downloading doesn't affect your refund. If you're within your first 7 days and have used under 10% of the period's Credit Tokens, you're still eligible whether or not you've taken a copy of the code.

Step 1 — Open your project's Export area

Open the project you want to take with you. From the project, choose Export to reach the export screen.

You'll see your project name at the top and a friendly overview of what export does. Nothing is downloaded yet, so feel free to look around first.

Step 2 — Start a new export

Choose Start Export. This opens a short step-by-step wizard with a few simple choices — the defaults are sensible, so you can just read each step and move forward.

Step 3 — Download your zip file

When the wizard finishes preparing your project, it hands you a download. Save the zip file somewhere you'll remember, like your Downloads folder.

That zip holds your full app. It's yours, with no strings attached.

Step 4 — Find past exports any time

Every export is remembered. Choose History (or Export History) to see the exports you've made before.

From there you can download an earlier version again whenever you need it, without redoing anything.

Tips

  • Your code is always yours. Exporting is optional, so do it whenever it gives you peace of mind, not because you have to.
  • Unzip the file to a clear, easy-to-find folder before sharing it. If you hand it to a developer, they'll have everything they need inside.
  • Keep building in NoCodePro.AI as normal. An export is a snapshot of right now, so export again after big changes if you want the latest copy on hand.
