How to change anything by asking the AI
Describe a change in plain words inside the builder and watch the AI make it for you.
What you'll do
You'll use the AI Chat inside the Visual Builder to change your app just by describing what you want, in everyday words. It's the fastest way to make edits without touching anything technical, and it works alongside point-and-click editing.
Step 1 — Open your project in the Visual Builder
Open the project you're working on and choose the Visual Builder. You'll see your app on screen, with an AI Chat panel beside it. This is your studio: design on one side, a live preview on the other.
Step 2 — Describe the change in plain words
Click into the AI Chat and type what you want, the way you'd ask a teammate. Try things like "make the header bigger," "change the button colour to green," or "add a sign-up form here." Be specific about the part of the screen you mean, then send your message.
Step 3 — Watch it happen and preview
The AI makes the change and you'll see it appear in the preview. Look it over. You can check how it feels on a phone and on desktop by switching the device view, so you know it works everywhere your visitors will see it.
Step 4 — Refine or undo
Not quite right? Just reply in the chat with a follow-up, like "make it a little smaller" or "use a softer shade." Keep nudging until it matches what you pictured. If you'd rather start that part over, you can undo and try a fresh request.
What this costs
Two different things happen in this chat, and only one of them is charged.
Asking is included. "What would you change about this screen?", "Should the sign-up form come before the pricing?", "What would it take to add bookings?" — that's Ask the AI Team: included on every plan, up to your monthly allowance, and it never touches your Credit Tokens.
Changing costs Credit Tokens. The moment you ask them to actually make the change, that is a build, and the price is shown on the button before you press it. The number depends on the AI you have picked and the thinking time you have chosen — it is never a surprise, and it is never taken twice for the same request.
If a change fails or comes back unusable, the Credit Tokens come back automatically. You do not have to ask.
Tips
- One change at a time reads more clearly than a long list, and it's easier to see what each request did.
- Name the spot you mean ("the top banner," "the contact form") so the AI edits exactly the right thing.
- You can always mix and match: ask the AI in chat, or point and click to move and edit things yourself, whichever feels easier in the moment.
