How to change colours, fonts and branding
Update your app colours, fonts, logo and overall look by clicking, using the Design Studio, or asking the AI to match your brand.
What you'll do
Make your app look like yours — your colours, your fonts and your logo. You can point and click, use the Design Studio, or simply describe your brand and let the AI match it for you.
Step 1 — Open your project in the Visual Builder
Open the project you want to restyle and go to the Visual Builder. It's laid out in three parts: the AI Chat on the left, your live app preview in the center, and the Design Studio on the right, where the styling controls live.
Spend a moment looking at what's there. Anything you can see, you can change.
Step 2 — Recolour by clicking or from the Design Studio
Click directly on a piece of text — a heading, a link, or a label — and an inline editor appears with colour swatches so you can pick a new shade.
For buttons, backgrounds and larger areas, open the Design Studio on the right (or just ask the AI) and set your colours there. Reuse the same brand colour across buttons and links so everything feels consistent.
Step 3 — Set fonts and add your logo
Open the Design Studio and go to the Colours & Fonts tab to choose your fonts. Pick one font for headings and one for body text — two is usually plenty.
To add your logo or other images, use the Design Studio's Add ▸ Images option to upload your file, or just describe it to the AI. The preview updates so you see exactly how it looks.
Step 4 — Or just ask the AI
Don't want to hunt for controls? Describe your brand in the AI Chat instead — for example, "use a deep navy and warm gold, and a clean rounded font." Watch the changes happen across your app.
You can keep refining in plain words: "make the buttons softer" or "use my logo's blue in the header."
Tips
- Asking how something should look is free. Applying the change is a build, so it uses Credit Tokens — the price is shown on the button first.
- Less is more — one main colour plus a neutral background reads as polished and professional.
- Check your work on phone and desktop with the device switcher above the center preview before you move on.
- Not happy with a change? You can roll back to a previous version in one click, so it's safe to experiment.
